Uninstall dual boot RRS feed

  • Question

  • I installed windows 7 on my system using dual boot. I installed it on a different hard drive. The problem I am having is that I cannot figure out how to uninstall windows 7. I've had my fun and would like to get rid of it. Can someone please help me.

    Hi,
Set your other OS (Windows Vista, XP?) as the default boot OS.
Go to that OS and download the freeware EasyBCD (google for Neosmart EasyBCD).
It will allow you to delete the Windows 7 entry in the dual-boot menu.
Reboot to confirm that the dual boot menu has disappeared.
Format the drive where Win 7 is installed.
    Done.
    Carlos
