  • Hi,

Please check update phrase of this blog and for reference, don’t enchanted by title.

" Dynamics CRM won't actually install on WIndows 10 devices. users who have, buoyed up by Microsoft's exuberant talk about Windows 10, updated to the new operating system, get left in the lurch. Dynamics CRM works on IE11 on Windows 10 today. There is an issue with access to Dynamics CRM 2011 through the Outlook client, which is flagged in our Support blog, and we are working to resolve this issue, with a target to provide the fix in the next Update Release (UR)."

  • Dear Deason,

I appreciate your response, but this question is not regarding the installation of Dynamics CRM.  I have Dynamics crm 2015 running on windows server 2012R2.  This is in reference to the dynamics CRM report authoring extension.  The link I provided above indicates the issue that I have.

Thanks again for taking the time.

    Best regards.

  • Hi karangua,

You referenced my old post in this thread and I wanted to let you know I was not successful in resolving the issue yet. I worked for FieldOne at the time of my post (FieldOne was acquired by Microsoft after my post) and now I am a Microsoft employee. I am working to follow up internally at Microsoft and figure out a solution to install the Report Authoring Extension on Windows 10. I'll update the thread as soon as I find a working solution that I can share.

  • Has there ever been a resolution to this?  It's over a year later and I'm still having the same problem.
