  • The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file...while doing a gpupdate /force. Can anyone help? we replicate our DC to another site, and this is where the problem occurs.

  • Check FRS and DFSR eventlogs - your sysvol replication seems to be broken.

    Based on the error description, can you ping both the IP addresses and DNS names of the domain controllers in your domain? If not, please check network connectivity or network configurations. Besides, as Martin suggested, you can check DFSR or FRS event logs which are located under Applications and Services Logs in Event Viewer.
