This app has been blocked by your system administrator

Question
-
We have currently a restricted terminal servers infrastructure in W2008R2 where we perform white listing for applications that are allowed to run. This means that for exemple, when a user logs in on the terminal servers infrastructure and some software tries to run at the login of the user, such as the anti-virus tray, which tries to start in minimize in the right bottom corner just next to the clock, it is denied and we end up with an event for SoftwareRestrictionPolicies, which is totally fine.
Since 2008 is coming to an end, we are busy migrating to Windows 2016 terminal servers but we face a problem where the end user receives a message when an application is blocked at login:
I've spent some time on internet trying to find a way to hide that message, but no luck. I also tried to disable those applications at login but they start in various way and I am unable to disable all of them.
Does someone have an idea on how to improve the end user experience ?
Thank you.

Hi,
The issue could caused by Applocker blocking the program.
Please check the setting of Applocker in GPO: Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Application Control Policies.Besides, you could try to set UAC to the lowest and check the symptom.

Dears,
We indeed use an Application Control Policy and the purpose is to keep it that way. So those applications need to remain blocked, I'd just like to get rid of that error message prompt.

Hello Yilia,
That page deals of the following topic:
1. Disable Windows SmartScreen Feature
This feature is nowhere to be found on our Windows Server 2016
2. Blocked files
The purpose is to keep it blocked
3. Run The File Using Command Prompt, Use Hidden Administrative Account, Check Your AntivirusThat's not the purpose here
