Need help with updates please RRS feed

  • I am having trouble with updates for Windows 7, and now my Trend Micro Antivirus won't run.  After Trend Micro has been working on and trouble shooting for a week, they have asked me to contact Microsoft.  I will instert what they have asked me to reference, which is the update history log.  They are concerned about the failed updates from 1-5-2012 which they do not know how to overcome.  Thank you.

  • Start by trying to install the failed updates after the system has been completely powered down and then powered on again.  I encountered a similar problem with updates a few months ago and after powering down and back up again the failed updates installed without a problem.
