    Do I have to reformat my harddisk before I try and install Windows 7rc for 64 bit after I have already installed the Windows 7 rc 32 bit?

    Installing any 64-bit operating system on a computer currently running a 32-bit operating system requires a clean install, which means reformatting the hard drive.
