    I was using Windows Media Player to listen to MP3s on my headphones when all of a sudden my laptop made a clicking noise and the left headphone stopped working.  I now only get sound through the right earbud and this sound is very distorted.  When I unplug the earphones, the laptop does not produce any sound whatsoever from its internal speakers.  I already tried re-imaging my entire computer but the problem persists.

    Hi,

    As re-imaging did not resolve the issue, I believe the audio card is not connected well physically. Please send the Laptop to repair shop and test.
