  • Hi Chander,

Live@edu is a solution provided by Microsoft towards the Higher Education vertical. Take a look at the links below for more information and a demonstration.

    http://imagine-wl.com/Education/Demo/edu.html

Further details which describe the various options for how Window Live Ids are provisioned can be found on the “Top 5 FAQ” section

To answer your question regarding signing up, I believe you would need to have your institution signed up however I’m not the one who would know the logistics. (If you need, let me know and I can direct you to someone off-line.)

For technical questions around how we’ve accomplished various SSO scenario (both federated and non-federated), feel free to send me an email and I can talk on that. Hope this helps.

  • Hi Chander,

You are probably looking to integrating Live@Edu into MOSS for SSO? Take a look at the Windows Live Email Portal Integration (SSO) document provided in connect. The document will provide detailed examples on how to accomplish this using the GetSLT method in the Windows Live SDK. I know a couple locations that have done something similar and its working well.

    Hope this helps.

  • We're looking to do the same thing but can't find any documentation of how to set things up from the live@edu side of the house.

I think I've clicked every option from the admin tool 15x to find out how to use adfs and can't locate anything.

any guidance you guys can provide to help set it up from that side of the house would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

  • You should take a look at the Portal Integration Document provided in the Connect site. This gives you various examples for integration with various portals using common authentication methods.
