Installing ADFS server on a DMZ network RRS feed

  • Question

  • How to install an ADFS 3.0 server on a DMZ network.

Need clarification whether ADFS server can be installed on a custom port if not what are the prerequisites required to install ADFS server on a DMZ network.

    Thanks in advance.

  • The Web Application Proxy (WAP) component can be installed in the DMZ in either a single or multi-homed NIC configuration to protect the back-end AD FS configuration. This supports pre-authentication and has a number of hardening features.

Why would you want to install AD FS on a custom port?
