  • with simple definition,active directory is a central database that it's handle by domain controller.this central database include this object:User,Group,Computer,Share Folder,...and that objects has a unique identifier.active directory was made for improve your security,centralization and easier management of logical network infrastructure.two vital element of active directory is DNS(Domain Name System) and Active Directory Domain Service(ADDS),which without those active directory unable to operate.active directory very very large topic and does not fit in this topic.
