    Am I imagining this? I just got a notice that I had not done a recent backup of my computer, and to my chagrin, I just noticed that Microsoft Windows Backup is still available for me to use in Win 8 Enterprise. I thought the File History had done away with this program. If this is indeed not the case, I'll still use it in conjunction with File History and Symantec System Recovery as part of my overall backup strategy.

    I see the sdclt.exe listed in my Windows System32 folder.

    I ran the file, it displayed "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows 7 File Recovery" and no mention of Windows 8 (did you notice that).    FYI, mine is a clean x86 VM not an upgrade, looks like it is included in the W8 RTM.

    It seems rumors of its death have been greatly exaggerated.  

    EDIT: If you find the start menu let me know, I've heard it's been removed as well.
