  • i had a new router installed but when trying to connect to the internet i got " page cannot be found" i was told to check all connections and to check all WAN connections to see if i had an IP address? im not an expert on computers. so if i do not have an IP address how do i get one and will that fix the problem?

  • It will depend on the router but see if you can connect to the router with your browser.  Go to http://192.168.1.1 and see if anything shows up.  Hope this helps.

  • A better idea would be to check the router manufacturers website for even more specific guidance.

    This guy is right.  See if you can connect to and configure the router and go from there
