Can not connect and sync my HP iPAQ 211 to my XPS UltraBook with Windows 8.


  • I cannot get my Windows 8 to recognize my HP iPAQ 211. I have it connected to the USB port and have the WMDC console open and it is showing "no connection". I need help.

  • Hi,

    I suspect the iPAQ 211 driver is not installed correctly. Please change different USB ports for a test.

    Meanwhile, you can go to Device Manager to confirm if the device is recognized. If not, please install the driver manually from HP site.

    If you cannot find the correct driver, please contact HP support.
