Can you migrate from 2007 to 2012 collection and sub-collections based off queries?

Yes you can migrate CM07 collections. Sub collections do not exist in CM12, all existing CM07 sub-collections will be migrated and added to a folder that has the old parent collection name. The migration process will not migrate CM07 collections that have a mix of users and devices.

Thanks! I believe queries do not migrate. What about Reports?Friday, October 19, 2012 5:58 PM

Queries in collections will migrate. Reports do not migrate out of the box. To migrate your reports do this:
- In CM07 migrate the to SQL Reporting Services Reports
- Download RSSexplorer from http://rssexplorer.codeplex.com/ this can migrate reports between SQL Reporting Servers. Not really a ConfigMgr feature - but it works.
