  • Hi,

    We're starting to transition from our existing MFA provider to Azure MFA (initially using on-prem NPS servers running the Azure MFA plug-in) and are noticing a few unexpected behaviours:

    -- Push notifications don't always find their way into the foreground on mobile devices. Clicking "Check for notifications" in the mobile app gives the option to approve/decline the request.

    -- "Unable to add the account. Unexpected error. Please contact your local IT administrator to resolve the problem." during enrolment. Generating a new QR code and scanning it generally works.

    -- Having scanned the QR code on mobile device during enrolment, account added, click "Next" on web page and then "Checking activation status..." appears in the browser and the process doesn't move forward. This is a relatively common occurrence.

    Are these things par for the course or are we unique/special/unlucky?
