  • Question

  • We want to restore a backup from the MS project Online.

What is the procedure, to contact the Microsoft support request ???

Data protection services are provided to prevent the loss of SharePoint Online data. Backups are performed every 12 hours and retained for 14 days. This describes the data backup services as offered when SharePoint Online is generally available

  • Microsoft performs the backups as you mentioned but you don't get a copy of the database. Please see the blog from Brian.

If you want to restore from a backup, you may use the Third party vendors such as FluentPro's free Community edition

  • Hello,

I would raise a support ticket on your Office 365 tenant and see what can be done as I'm not sure.
