Getting date sent of Quota Mail RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone,

Is there a way to check when a qouta warning mail has been sent to the user?

I've checked the logs but all i can find is an entry stating that the mailbox is full and new emails will be rejected.

    We are using Exchange 2007.

    Thanks in advance!

  • It seems that I found the answer! Hope it helps someone else.

First of all you'll need to find out who is sending the Quota mails.

    - Open up a EMC and type "Get-OrganizationConfig | fl"

    - Search for "MicrosoftExchangeRecipientPrimarySmtpAddress" and copy this address.

    - Next type the following command "Get-MessageTrackingLog -Sender "<Copied Address>" | Select-Object TimeStamp, Recipients, MessageSubject"

This displays a list of all messages sent by Microsoft Exchange.
