Logitech LX300 Keyboard/mouse not recognized by Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • New computer. New Windows 7.  Logictech LX300 keyboard/mouse are not "seen" when cpu is rebooted.  I have downloaded Set Point Control Center Version 6.16.6 and driver version 5.10.9.

Of interest is that on the set point tab, only tools shows up.  No mouse or keyboard tabs are listed.  I have tried unistalling and re-installing the Logictech download for the LX 300 with ZERO results.

I have plugged the IR rcvr to the motherboard connection for the mouse and used an adapter to connect the keyboard to the motherboard PS/2.  I have tried moving the keyboard to different USB ports including the two on the front with negative results after rebooting.

I am currently using a cheap keyboard and mouse in order to troubleshoot why the LX 300 is not being recognized...Which means that my MB is working fine.

Any ideas on how to further troubleshoot this problem?
