  • Hi,

I just upgraded my Windows XP to Vista and my video card cant find enought ressources.

    Error message:

This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)

I use a Mac Pro with 1gb memory and a NVidia 7300 GT.

I use the lastest drivers and i tryed to diseable some other devices...nothing to do with this video card.

The video was all right with Windows XP.

    Anybody have an idea ??

  • Same here - very frustrating.  You would think that Vista's automated update during setup could handle this?

How are you enjoying your 4-color display on your Mac Pro?  Let me know if you stumble upon the answer...

Added 2 GB of RAM, it's good as new - Other than Vista Ultimate only sees 2 GB of the 3 GB installed... go figure.

  • I just added 1 gb of ram and it's good too.

Its the hardware solution, we must find a software solution. Smile
