  • Hi,

Is the entire folder "scripts" is missing? Check if you can access the netlogon \\domainname\netlogon\ share as well..

If both of them are missing then you need to follow the steps http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;315457

  • If Scripts folder is missing someone with higher privilege might have deleted and you can track it if auditing is enabled. You can copy script folder from other DC or restore from the backup taken. You can also perform non-authoritative restore.

  • Hi,

How many DC's are in network? Open cmd > run net share, check the SYSVOL share is available or not.

    1. Multiple DC environment:
If only Script folder or entire SYSVOL folder is missing.
    > you can simply copy the missing folder/s from another healthy DC and restart File Replication service.

    2. In a single DC environment, You will need restore the Script folder or entire SYSVOL folder from backup.

If both SYSVOL and NETLOGON shares are missing, you may use KB link which is provided by Server Engineer. Also I would suggest to check FRS events, If there are any latest error events, post them here
