Win2003 domain rename with Exchange 2007

Question

Would someone suggest downgrade Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2003, since there is a Exchange Server Domain Rename Fixup tool for Exchange 2003. After the domain rename, then upgrade it to Exchange 2007 again?Monday, May 3, 2010 10:33 PM

As you know, you can’t rename cannot rename a domain that has 2007

Your best option is a migration.
Create a new AD forest with correct name, install Exchange, migrate resources and mailboxes.

Hello,
Exchange 2007 does not support Domain Rename, and there are no plans for a Domain Rename Fixup Tool for Exchange 2007. Meanwhile, Exchange 2007 can't downgrade to Exchange 2003.
I agree with Santhosh, given the current situation, the best choice is migrate the current system to a new forest.
Thanks,
Elvis
