  • Hi All,

I am working on Project Server in my organization. I need to prepare a YTD chart. The chart should display the number of resources involved in projects on a monthly basis. The months are achieved based on Resource Start Date and Resource Release Date. How can i keep  track of the number of resources in the projects on a monthly basis?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Regards,

    Akhila Vasishta

    Thanks in advance, Akhila Vasishta

  • There're a couple ways:

    1) Configure a timed SQL report that drops the data into a custom reporting database.

    2) Configure a VBA routine that uploads the data from the Project client to a custom reporting database.

    3) Require it to be reported manually by the PMs in a data repository.

The main issue is that you can't get # of resources on a project without querying the Published database.  The Reporting database only includes the # of assigned resources.
