Project Server 2013 custom web part example

I couldn't find a good example for a custom web part with Project Server 2013. Can anyone post an example or a link to a tutorial? It probably looks similar to a regular SharePoint web part in terms of structure but wasn't sure. Any guidance is appreciated!

Hello,

Depends what your web part needs to do but certainly start with the SharePoint guides then access Project data as required: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/sharepoint/creating-web-parts-for-sharepoint

Rather than the full trust web part, it would be worth looking at using the addin / app model to build the add-in with an add-in / app part: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/client-developer/project/create-a-sharepoint-hosted-project-server-add-in
