Sequencing Office 2010 : On first launch within the sequencer word errors RRS feed

    While within the sequencer, I launch Word to create primary feature block. However when i launch Word I get the following error:

    "An error occurred and this feature is no longer functioning properly.
    Please run setup and select "Repair.." to resore this application"

    Anybody got any ideas?

    A way that's not mentioned in the Guide would be to disable the repair of word....You could do this by including the following:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\

    Microsoft\Office\<Insert Office version
    number here>\Word\Options

    Create a DWORD reg called NoReReg for the name of the new value.

    And set this to 1
    I used that before on Office XP and have tried it in 2007

    Before launching word you might not have installed the OFFVIRT on your sequencer machine. i am having the same issue but later solved with the installation of the OFFVIRT before launching any office 2010 application.

    The feature is no longer functioning properly because it has licensing issue. Install OFFVIRT on your sequencer machine.

    Note the architecture of your machine should match with that of OFFVIRT. So be careful with x64 and x86.
