Incoming email with Exchange 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • All:

Recently moved our MOSS 2007 farm from one domain to another.  All the same farm servers.

The old domain was AD 2003 and Exchange 2003 , the new AD 2008 and Exchange 2010.

We have reconfigured the Incoming e-mail settings to create the contacts in the new domain and it is.

Mail is delivered successfully to the pre-existing libraries.

The problem is that the email address for the contact is blank for newly enabled libraries.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Ed,

Did you find some errors under the 12/LOGES folder?

Did you mean that the SharePoint new library would not create the new contact with email address in your new Active Domain? Or in Exchange 2010 (sync with AD)?

You need to check whether the SharePoint service account has modify permission on the  OU in the new domain.

  • Daniel:

No errors in the SharePoint logs.  Do not have access to the event logs on the DC's or Exchange server.

The contacts are being created in the correct OU in AD but are not mail-enabled.  As such, they do not have any of the mail attributes and are not showing up in Exchange or the GAL.
