OpenSearch (osdx) results and security problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    I created simple OSDX file and executed them:

    <OpenSearchDescription xmlns="http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/"
        xmlns:ms-ose="http://schemas.microsoft.com/opensearchext/2009/">
        <ShortName>TestSearch</ShortName>

    </OpenSearchDescription>

    Then, I created simple test.xml file and placed it into C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ folder (I have IIS7.5):

TestSearch

favicon

favicon

    And as a result of search I see following:

    http://imgur.com/a/Ix2ue

    If link is a local file then Explorer does not allow to click on in

    Q: Please help me understand - which particular Internet security setting should I change in order to allow search show local files without such error

    Thank you
