How do I query the "User State Recovery Key" in SCCM 2012 RRS feed

    The same issue was solved in SCCM 2007 by referencing

    But for SCCM 2012, "StateEncryptDecryptKey" key is too long and does not match the "User State Recovery Key".

    So how do I pull the "User State Recovery Key" without using the SCCM Console?

    You can view the key directly from the console :

    Open Assets and Compliance - User State Migration
    Right Click on a Machine
    Click "View Recovery Information"

    You will see the recovery key at the bottom of the window.

    Unfortunately this does not answer my question: So how do I pull the "User State Recovery Key" without using the SCCM Console?

    I am starting to think that this is not possible.

    I've check the following views and there's no sign of the "User State Recovery Key".

    v_StateMigration
    v_UserStateMigration
    dbo.StateMigration

    The StateEncryptDecryptKey is available from dbo.StateMigration but not the "User State Recovery Key". This key is probably encrypted for security reason.

    Sorry for not answering your question but I don't think that you can directly query this information from the DB.
