  • Question

  • Using Project Server 2013 On-Premise.

One Resource is appearing twice in the resource center page, though in manage users, there is only one entry for that resource. What could be the reason behind it. Project report is getting affected bcoz of this.

How to remove one duplicate entry from resource center.

  • Hi,

I assume that only one of these resources has an associated user account. You can delete from PWA Settings / Server Settings - Delete Enterprise Objects - Resources and Users.

To identify the resource, not being a user, you can do the following: Open the resource (without user account) from Resource Center for editing and open PWA Settings / Server Settings - Delete Enterprise Objects - Resources and Users in a new tab (leaving edit resource tab open). This makes it a lot easier to find in Delete Enterprise Objects list, since you can sort by "Checked-Out". Mark checked out resource and delete. You can only delete checked-out resources if they are checked-out by you.

    Does that help?

  • Thanks barbara,

Somebody had created the resource from Resource Center that caused duplicate entry. So deleted one that was created from Resource Center.
