How to rename html files as aspx RRS feed

    I ve been trying to add HTML TO SPO and one of the steps is to copy or rename the HTML file into a aspx. When I try to do that in Sharepoint online the file type does not get changed to aspx. 

    Any recommendations on how to do this? 

    My end goal is to publish a html file into SharePoint Online.
