    Sequencer Version: 4.6 Sp1
    App-V Client Version Tested On: 4.6 Sp1
    Operating System Sequenced On: Windows 7 Enterprise x86
    Prerequisites: Copy the media locally, Ensure the source folder is named disk1 (avoiding a prompt to 'Insert New Media), Download the files MSVCP71.dll and msvcr71.dll from a secure source (they will be captured during sequencing) - References: AND
    Client Operating Systems Successfully Deployed To: Windows 7 Enterprise x86

    1)Log on with administrative credentials (ensure the prerequisites are ready (listed above) before starting the sequencer)

    2)Open the App-V 4.6 SP1 Sequencer

    Begin Packaging Method

    3)Select Create a New Virtual Application Package

    4)Select Create Package (Default) then click Next

    5)Ensure System is ready to create a virtual package, no issues were detected, then click Next

    Type of Application

    6)Select Standard Application (default) then click Next

    Select Installer

    7)Browse to application installation file and click Open

    8)Click Next

    Package Name

    9)Type the Virtual Application Package Name

    10) Click Next

    Application Installation

    1. Click Next
    2. Agree to the EULA and click Next
    3. Change the desination directory to the designated subdirectory off the root of Q: and click Next
    4. Click Next
    5. Click Next (Leave the user home directory as the default)
    6. Click Next
    7. Click Install
    8. Click No and click Next (Health Check)
    9. Click Done
    10. Copy the two .dll files (MSVCP71.dll and msvcr71.dll) which were previously downloaded from a secure location to C:\Windows\System32


    11)Select I am finished installing

    12)Click Next

    Configure Software

    13)Click Next (unless setting up first feature block which was not tested)

    Installation Report

    14)Check the error report by double-clicking any entries.

    15)Click Next


    16)Select Stop Now

    17)Click Next

    Create Package

    18)Browse to an appropriate location, click Create

    19)Click Close
