Opening a Browse File Window=BSOD Vista x64 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 and am having a slight problem, every time I have to open up a file browse window (adding file file attachments, uploading stuff, etc), the computer will work for about 2 seconds, then BSOD citing tdx.sys as the error.  I've not found anything out via goodle, apart from that there is a hotfix in the works for a winsock error, but I can;t see why that would be my problem if I'm just opeing a file browse window, not anything to do with networks (although I suppose everythign is now).

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, and knows of a fix for it?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

is anyone out there who found a fix for this problem??

I have the same problem and tried all 3 fixes from MS (KB 933049, KB 934611 & KB 937385), but nothing helps.

    Here my components:

    ASUS P5B-deluxe WiFi

    Intel DuoCore E6600

    NVidia 8800 GTX

    Creative Audigy 2 ZS

    4GB RAM

    Vista Ultimate X64

All drivers are up to date.

If I try to upload something to the WWW (for example an avatar) the explore window runs for 2 seconds, the mouse freezes and the BSOD appears with the tdx.sys message.

PS: Sorry for my bad English... ;-)

    Thanks in advise
