Vista Windows Explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want my vista windows explorer to open to the C: drive directory. Is this a matter of changing the properties in windows explorer or do I have to change the registry? What is the format of the command if this is possible.

  • Yep, its possible.  Make a shortcut to Explorer.exe, go into it's properties and for Target: put in the following

    C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,c:\

Works in both Vista and XP
