How to suspend DPM backups during SQL Server maintenance RRS feed

    During prolonged periods we need to suspend backups for specific SQL Servers. How are backups suspended?

    From DPM UI Management Tab, select your protected computer then right-click and choose Disable Protection.

    It seems wrong, to me anyway, that checking Disable Protection generates error messages when backups are blocked.
