Undeliverable e-mail after upgrading to Exchange 2010 RRS feed

  • After upgrading to Exchange 2010, users are having problems sending emails out to email addresses that are valid. I noticed it stays in the Queue for over a day, than Exchange sends it back as undeliverable. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? Oh yeah, they are random domains also.

  • What is Messages Status in the Queue Viewer and what you see in Additional Information area for this messages? Any event in Application log?

       Do you have anything to update your thread?
       1. Check firewall and other filter software. Can you find any domain is blocked ?
       2. Check DNS. Can you get MX record of target domain?
       3. Please monitor traffic when exchange can't send external email.
       4. If all the configuration is correct, please post NDR and any event log.
