Strange behavior of Leveling feature in French Project 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

In the English version of Project 2016 I create 3 tasks running in parallel and using the same resource. The leveling feature is able to set the 3 tasks one after the other. If the first task is completed at 100% and I run another leveling because there is another over-allocation in the project, my 3 tasks don't move. That's what I expect. OK.

If I create a similar project In Project 2016 FR, the behavior is very strange: If Task 1 is finished and I have to run a new leveling because of an over-allocation somewhere else, Task 2 and Task 3 shift to the project start, somewhat like Task 1 did not exist:

And if T2 is complete : task T3 shifts to the left again. So the resource did 3 tasks in parallel !

Is it a known issue? any workaround?

    Thanks

  • In the first case you have leveled first and then marked T1 finished.

In the second case (I think) you have marked T1 finished and then leveled.

Leveling won't move a task which is finished, because actuals trump everything else.

Can you show us the result of the FR version with leveling first and then marking T1 finished?
