  • Hi adilahmed,

Per my research, here are some differences between testing on VS on-premise and on VS Online:

    1. Different between testing on Azure and testing on-premise is the load generators we use.
    2. The on-premises Visual Studio load testing product enables you to collect performance counters from the system under test, this simply does not work well against machines running in the cloud.

Here is a good article point to the detailed differences and how to do loading test for your reference:

    https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/edglas/2013/11/26/load-testing-visual-studio-online/

Besides, if there is still some incomprehension,  I suggest you creating a new thread in Visual Studio forum to get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us:

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Grace Wang
