Is it possible to style the search tab in FAST Search result page? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have create a site based on the FAST Search center template.

And I have a search result page which I add 5 search tabs above search box.

I just wonder that is it possible to style these search tabs, for example, make it two rows, add color (hi-light) to group the common seach tabs, or etc.

    Thanks in advance.

    Andy

  • Hello Andy,

The tabs added to the page are rendered in a html table, so wrapping and grouping them is not possible with mere css styling. But using for example jQuery you should be able to re-arrange the cells and modify it the way you want, after the page has loaded.

    Sort of hacking the UI.

The styles for the buttons are: ms-sctabcn (selected tab) and ms-sctabcf (not selected), which can be overridden to change the color etc.
