Files and Folder auditing questions


  • We have files and folder auditing on the HR main folder and sub folders. We have it set so it advises changes on the files/folders for change permissions and take ownership and then an email gets triggered on event for event id 4670. The issue we are running into is when people are adding, deleting or saving files it triggers an email alerts. We only want this to be applied on folders so if someone changes, removes or add a group or user to a folder it notifies us.

    What is the easiest way to acomplish this.
