    On  new Word document why does the cursor appear at the top of the screen without any  top margin visible?  This has suddenly happened and I have tried re-setting the margins but it does not work.  The print preview is normal but the screen view is not.

     

    The slider on the margin ruler has disappeared at the right hand side.

    Hi Forests,

    That might be because you're working in 'draft' or 'web layout' view. Try changing to 'print layout' view. If you're already using the 'print layout' view and can't see the top margin, go to Word Options|Display and check the 'show white space between pages' option.
