  • A bugcheck (BSOD) is a mechanism to protect your PC from damage.

    You get this one:

The SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION bug check has a value of 0x0000003B. This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.

To see the cause I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows.

Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows. Next, copy the memory.dmp file to your desktop, zip the large dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.

If you can't see the dmp file, make sure your Windows is configured correctly [2][3] to generate at least kernel dumps.

If you want to analyze them your own, check those videos [4][5] and read this KB article [6].

This crash often happens while doing graphic related operations. So update the GPU driver. The crash maybe caused by the Update KB2778344. Try to remove the Update and see if this fixes it if updating the driver doesn't fix it.
