  • Question

  • Hello.

    netsh int httpstunnel show interfaces

    Interface IPHTTPSInterface (Group Policy)  Parameters
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Role                       : client
    URL                        : https://da1.aerospace.com:443/IPHTTPS
    Last Error Code            : 0x274c
Interface Status           : failed to connect to the IPHTTPS server. Waiting to reconnect

Please see error above.  I am connected to the internet at home without any wireless/networking devices and have a public IP address.

My question is, should I be able to resolve the name da1.aerospace.com from home? Because I can't.

Also, if I put https://da1.aerospace.com:443/IPHTTPS in the browser, should I see anything?

    Regards

  • Yes, the name needs to be externally resolvable and should be using an Internet registered name.

Have a look through this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee844126(WS.10).aspx

  • Hi Alesh,

As Jason said, the external client needs to be able to resolve that name, and that also needs to be the subject name on the IP-HTTPS listener certificate that you configured when you ran the UAG DA wizard to set up DA.
