We are sending test mails to an application from Outlook 2007 using Taiwan/Chinese Traditional font.
The app is receving mails from internal OWA and gmail with correct font & with the below charset:

Content-Type: text/html; charset="big5"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printableBut when sending from Outlook getting garbled characters with the below header:
Content-Type: text/html; charset="gb2312"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printableDo we need to apply any hotfix for Outlook or any RU in exchange to get the correct font from Outlook 2007.

Outlookis making the decision about the character set based on its scanningof the message. You may be able to deal with this by creating a contact and providingthe necessary character set there.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hello Ahmed,
Since the content-type is correct in OWA, this may not issue on the Exchange Side.
I suggest you follow Rich's suggestion to ask the question in Outlook forum.
