We want to bind the listener to a particular interface. We were able to do this from the GUI – remote desktop session host configuration on 2008 R2, which doesn’t exist for 2012.
For automation, we were setting the making the following changes in the registry
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp, set LanAdapter to “1”
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\lanatable, select the key name with the GUID of your desired interface and set LanaId value to “1”
I was not able to get any of the above to work on 2012 R2.
