I have a Dell pc running Windows XP. I just replaced the motherboard. I can connect it to my network here at work. I take that same pc to a customers store, change the network settings to work on their network and the pc will not connect to their network. Any ideas?Tuesday, January 3, 2012 2:11 PM

There are chances that due to the change of motherboard, your quick launch (F2) settings are disturbed. Try installing the wireless and bluetooth drivers again completely with all packages.

The only possibility is the network settings. Windows only works when all the settings are correct.

Which network do you change at customers store then? Most of times DHCP is enough.. (optain an IP address and DNS server automatically)
When that's not the solution an IP address and DNS server must be filled in manually.
