    Hi Experts,

    Our Customer needs to extend to DR design. they have a datacenter (4km distance). it is clear that stretched FE pools are not supported. what about Edge Pools and Director Pools? May I stretch those or do I need to deploy two. If two, is there a documented failover process such as it is available for frontend pools?

    Please advise.

    Hi SBHV,

    Stretched pool for Edge and director is not supported in Skype for business server 2015 as the following link:

    You need to deploy two pools. Skype for business high availability could be referred by the following link:

    Hi Balamurugan,

    Technically it is possible, but not a supported/recommended scenario. Like Jim Xu recommends is to build a HA setup. What use do you have if you put one server in other datacenter and one in a other datacenter if the whole pool will fail. This don't give you a Disaster Recovery solution. Best practice is to build 2 separate pools and you can have a good HA and DR setup with this.
