OEM Branding RRS feed

  • Question

  • Could anyone provide me with instructions on how i could add my own logo to the system properties of a windows 7 deployment? I want to use MDT to deploy my system, from what i can gather i need to use the WAIK to edit the unattended.xml file but i dont know what settings determine branding. and if it is possible can i use the customsettings.ini to do the trick?

    thank you

  • You can add a script to the task sequence to set the oem details rather can using the unattend.xml

    here's a link I've used to do oem branding.

  • You could use following entries in unattend.xml to add OEM information:

    <OEMInformation>
       <HelpCustomized>true</HelpCustomized>
       <Manufacturer>OEM name</Manufacturer>
       <Model>model name</Model>
       <Logo>C:\Windows\OEM\Logo.bmp</Logo>
       <SupportHours>hours</SupportHours>
       <SupportPhone>123-456-7890</SupportPhone>
       <SupportURL>http://www.fabrikam.com/support</SupportURL>
    </OEMInformation>

    Alternatively - according to this page anyway - you could use reg entries to display your own logo.
