Hi,
Please try the SQL Server Management Pack and see if it helps:
SQL Server Monitoring Management Pack
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=10631
In addition, regarding monitoring SQL replication, please also refer to the following post:
All About Automatically Monitoring Replication Agent Failures
Please see the section “About SCOM monitoring for SQL replication”.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi Nicholas,
I ve tried those blogs.
The mistake was i was trying to add a EventDescription field that could match the alert description. Now added only for the Event ID's.
@Roelkn - The blog is helpful in enabling replication monitoring.
Thanks a lot for your replies..

Hi Nicholas,
What event source do i need to specify as only giving event ID's in an alert generating rule is not helpful picking up the alert.
Thanks.
