  • I have a problem with the Approval Center in the Project Server 2010. When the resource charges Hours and these are send to me, in spite I reject these hours, they make impact in the porject. What could be the problem here?

  • Hello,

Rejecting a task update is not the same as an 'undo' If a team member enter actual work on the my work page, planned work on the my work page is adapted according to the actual work entered. If the approver rejects the task update, the update is marked as rejected (actual work is not cleared).

The resource who submitted the task update will see an indicator  on his or her Task Center page and can review your explanation to find out why the task update was rejected. Also,  the team member can review what he has entered and which updates have been rejected. He can now adapt the rejected update and resubmit it for approval. Planned work again will be recalculated according to the new updated values which impacts the project?
