  Not sure what you are asking. System Center isn't a product - it is (without trying to sound like a sales person), a suite of products including:

  http://www.microsoft.com/systemcenter/en/us/default.aspx

  The 2 products that have 2010 in their name are DPM 2010 (in release candidate) and Service Manager 2010 (also in Release Candidate). Is it the latter you are thinking of?

  OpsMgr 2007 R2 is the latest version. More details on future versions will probably be made public at MMS in mid-April.

  Is the System Center Essentials 2010 contains the next up-gradation version for OpsMgr 2007 R2?

  No - System Center Essentials is a seperate product. For small businesses (30 - 50 servers, a few hundred desktops). It has some OpsMgr functionality, some ConfigMgr functionality - here is a good intro video:
