Moving radius server from 2008 to 2012 server. I did a backup of the NPS / Radius config as well as the certificate. I configured the NPS to use PEAP. I am able to connect fine with all my window 10 Wireless but none of my window 7 works.

Error: The Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) Type cannot be processed by the server.

Need help.

Hi,

Please check this hotfix:

Windows 7 does not connect to an IEEE 802.1X-authenticated network if an invalid certificate is installed

If it has already installed,please make sure the win7 clients trust the NPS certificate issuer.Or you could try to request a new certificate for win7 clients.
